Unusual Freelance Careers You May Not Have Considered
Many people dream of a freelance career, but too often those people think only of the most obvious freelance options, like writing, photography or consulting. The truth is there are actually many different types of freelance careers that you may not have thought of.
For example, consider becoming a reader. This job consists of reading books, magazines, or newspapers to people who are no longer able to do so. In some cases, you’d visit a nursing home or private residence. In other cases, you’d do it over the phone. This job is an interesting one, but some people may have trouble talking for long periods of time.
Organizing is another freelance career that many people don’t think of. If you’re someone who’s always organized, then you can visit someone’s home or office and help them get on track. This might include providing them with storage solutions, it might involve getting a calendar set up for them, or it might involve filing their important papers. People are willing to pay big money to have someone organize their life.
The bottom line is that anything you’re good at, you can probably find someone to pay you to do it. As you consider a freelance career, get creative and you’ll likely find that there are more options than you realize. The hits keep comin’: Special Report: Careers for Freelancer’s
