Essentially we are creating an educational video game. We are
planning on giving away a simple player (think of it as something
like iTunes where the player is free but you buy the music to play
in it). The user can then go to our web store and buy models,
which they can interact with via the player. These models are
generally fully dissectable animals such as a cat, frog, spider,
etc. Currently we have about 30 with the goal of creating 300 over
the next year.

On the technical side, we need help with the following:
-Building an online store with a shopping cart, checkout and payment.
-Registering and managing users
-Triggering an executable to handle encryption of the models
-Giving the user the ability to download a file to their computer

Four virtuemart jobs in one:

1. Improved order handling in Virtuemart (This applies to the page=order.order_list)
See attached rough sketch.
- Add search criteria: country as drop down. The option “-all-” should be included in the list.
- Make existing free text search include the order number
- Add check boxes to the order list (see attached example)
- All orders should be printed to a single pdf file or to screen. Screen output must be formatted using code for page shift.
- If “Notify” is ticked customer should be notified as in the original build
- If “Inv” is ticked, the order should be printed
- If “News” is ticked every invoice page should be printed followed by a one page newsletter (see details below) The output should then be: invoice1, newsletter, invoice2, newsletter, invoice3, newsletter etc
- Add three action buttons:
1. Update and print (all orders in search result)
2. Update only (all orders in search result)
3. Print only (all orders in search result)
- Add button: Print address labels. Formatted for LabelWriters. Pdf page size: 88mm X 36mm. landscape orientation.

2. Automatic newsletter to go with invoices
Render PDF page of specific Joomla page and add this to the invoices (see above).
Create a Joomla newsletter-template that will render modules, like latest products, articles with images, calendar modules in a good way for PDF. Template will only be used for this.
In other words, the newsletter IS the Joomla page. Some static content and some dynamically updated content.
Template should probably have fixed outer dimensions.
Preferably use Joomla or Virtuemart built in pdf function.

3. Format addresses correctly in Virtuemart
Use existing database to fetch address format in different countries.
Create a Virtuemart function that outputs the customer addresses in the correct format for the customers country.
The address formats are stored in the vm_country table in the field: addrFormat. Every country has a stored format, even if some are similar.
Examples:
USA:
[STREET ADDRESS]
[CITY], [REGION] [ZIPCODE]
[COUNTRY]

Norway:
[STREET ADDRESS]
[ZIPCODE] [CITY]
[COUNTRY]

Easiest way to do this is with replace:
If country is United Kingdom, then output this:
[STREET ADDRESS]
[CITY]
[REGION]
[ZIPCODE]
[COUNTRY]
But of course replace [STREET ADDRESS] with customers street address etc.

The output should be without empty address lines.

Implemented formatted address the following places:
- page=order.order_print (admin pages)
- Printed invoices (both screen and pdf)
- Email invoices
- Checkout pages
- Account Maintenance
- Label print (new, see above)

4. Make State a required field in all address registration IF the country format includes [REGION].

Other conditions:
The work will have to be implemented on a production server, so we cannot afford too many bugs.
Some Virtuemart pages are already hacked so changes has to be made page by page to the existing installation. No ftp overwriting.

Timeframe: 10-14 days.

Virtuemart Improvemets

I need a custom shopping cart that integrates into joomla. It needs to work on Joomla 1.0 and 1.5. I already have the joomla website complete and ready to go. I just need the shopping cart. The shopping cart needs to have the following

1. Add/edit/delete products
2. Add/edit/delete categories
3. Product prices, product image and product description.
4. Accept payment via paypal.
5. Product quantities
6. Sales tax
7. Order/Sales history.

The shopping cart must have a detailed administrative area. You are free to modify existing shopping cart scripts if you like it just needs to integrate with joomla.

I also need detailed instructions along with screen shots on how to do administrative task from the admin.

You must be very good with joomla to bid on this project. Please only bid if you are an expert with joomla.

I don’t want to use Virtuemart or any existing script. I want this to be custom.

Custom Shopping Cart Joomla

The website citygirl will be an ad and profile site (directory) for ladies offering their services.
Visitors will be able to easily browse adverts through the clear navigation pane at the left.
When clicked on a advert, all available information will be presented (free) - as much as the advertiser likes to disclose (photos, tel nr, area, etc.). Visitors are also able to see comments (if present) of leave comments themselves. There will also be a discussion forum, in which information can be linked to the profiles (ads).
Another way to find information is to search the database to find profiles that match the entered criteria (pre-defined fields and categories).

Advertisers can place ads (create profiles). Short ads are free, can be placed through a webform with email authentication procedures. Ads will be placed in order of entry, but can be ‘upped’ for a certain period of time by sending an SMS text message by mobile phone, or through the user account (paypal).

i need a real estate website, very easy like rent.com but works alittle different. 1st, it is a real estate classifieds website, so brockers and other realtors can post their property at a price per month per property, (all this should be editable in the cms.)
2nd, home sellers, just like rent.com, can decide we help them sell their property, meaning listing is free but commission on sale applies. brockers who register to sell on our website can edit, manage and even control their own property on their pages and manage messages from their clients (sort of like their office).. more info is available but thats teh most important for now.. the site will keep improving, so u beter be equiped.

Real Estate Website Wanted

Need to be compatible with Virtuemart 1.1.3… looking for a Discount module based on the value of order…If the order is below 45 euros I want the VAT to be deducted

Example:

3 products & freight value is 44€ includes tax 22%, the system automaticly discount the order with the tax %.

This system shall be used only for sums of between 0 to 45 euros, all sums over that shall be as usual in VM (incl. tax)

Setup in the Administrative backend with dashboard where it can be administered.

Virtuemart Tax Discount Module

I need someone who can modify a Wordpress theme for me, specifically, it is a StudioPress(formerly Revolution) LifeStyle theme.

Things I want done:

1) Create a header
2) Remove one of the nav bars under the header that comes with the theme
3) Change the background and foreground color
4) Create links for Privacy, About and Contact in the footer
5) Code for ‘Related Posts’ so that Related Posts will show up after every post. Note that this is without the use of the ‘Related Posts’ plugin
6) Remove ‘Recent Posts’ from Home Page, but have it show up for individual categories
7) Change color of hyperlinks Automatically insert email capture form after each post
9) Display categories on the right - I will provide an example of this

Customize Wp Theme

1 - the complete mysql database for a wordpress blog (currently at 2.0)

2 - access to a cpanel account for fast wordpress install

3 - access to the mysql database associated with the wordpress 2.8 install

1 - a COMPLETE import of everything from the wordpress 2.0 database (posts, pages, comments, links, categories, etc.)

Wordpress Database Conversion

I need some help cleaning up the code and fixing errors for my website.
The original person who helped me design this site left a lot of security problems and hackable holes.
One example is the admin login and password is saved in an accessible and readable file on the server instead of in the database. The database connect file always keeps changing (i.e something is writing to it and changing it)

Originally it worked without any noticeable problems until my HOST upgraded their systems and messed up the database.
Sine the upgrade, there have been numerous errors popping up. Many I have managed to clean up myself, But there are still a few errors going on.
The main error was compatibility with PHP 4 and 5. Parts that worked under PHP 4 did not function under PHP 5 and visa versa.

Currently, the noticeable errors are as follows:
1. There is a section where I was able to submit photos. Now, it says it submitted the photo but when I go to the front end to see it, it isn’t there, it isn’t in the database and it isn’t on the server.

2. I have a scrolling test section in admin that will not submit the text I type. If I write it in the database manually, it works. But through the admin panel it doesn’t. I have looked at and cleaned up the code 1000 times. It should work, yet it doesn’t.

3. I have a diary system where I write in the day’s events and save it in the database. At the front end users are supposed to be able to see the diary entries, in order of date (the event), at the moment is displays in the order of date submitted.

4. Admin is hackable by the original developer. (the username and password being saved as a txt file) It needs to be properly secured.

5. There are a lot of backup files, unused files, and dead weight. These need to be removed.

6. I have moved to a new host. In the move it was very difficult to set up the website again. I would like it to be easily installable in case I need to move in the distant future.

7. The general code is very messy, there are too many code repeats, and just too many files that make it a drain on my account. I would like it to be cleaned up, simplified, and easy for me to make modifications.

8. There are two admin panels. I would like the two integrated into one single user friendly panel.

9. For security purposes, I would like to be able to see who logged in, from what IP and when. This includes any and all admin.

I don’t have a large budget for this so please bid appropriately. However, I do have plenty of reviews from previous projects and will have future business for the programmer chosen.

Repair And Cleanup

I have a PSD file I have designed and would like to have turned into a valid WordPress template. I would do it myself but just don’t have the time to deal with it.

The following descriptions may help you understand how the pages will be used (I will give the actual PSD file to the winning bidder.):

The template is going to be used as a sales site and includes 3 major types of pages:
• Squeeze Page – Will be a static page that I won’t tinker with much but of course like all the pages needs to be editable from the backend of WordPress. I need to be able to essentially drop in elements such as video, opt-in box, images, writing, etc. The two major components on this page will be a video and opt in box, which need to be side by side. This page will be the only one that has a nav bar on it, just simple links under the footer that go to pages like privacy policy, about, etc. Nothing flashy to distract the user’s eyes. The goal of this landing page is to get people to watch the quick video and give us their name and email.
o Examples of similar pages:

• Sales Page – Will also be a static page similar to the Squeeze Page but simpler with a lot more content. Really the only difference is that it won’t have that opt in box so the video will fill up more of the screen and there won’t be the nav bar page links at the bottom of the page.

There could be anywhere from 6 to 24 weeks or even more. I would like the template to be compatible with all plugins but especially the following plugin which I will be purchasing to make this members process run smoothly:

If you have any better ideas, I am open to suggestions but this plugin seems to have everything I am looking for.

Note it may be difficult to see but the background image on all of the pages is a solid color (which will be a very small image repeated) underneath a white gradient (which will be a single image). On top of that there is the dynamic height box, which will consist of a header, middle piece and footer.

When you are slicing the psd, you will have to keep in mind that in the future, I will likely use this exact template for a few websites going by different names and color schemes but keeping the same layout. So I will likely go into the PSD, make simple color and image adjustments that keep with the exact same size dimensions, then simply save these adjusted images with the same names to replace the current ones without having to mess too much with the code.

I will appreciate this sort of clean and thorough work done on my template.

Qualifications:
- WordPress development knowledge. The right candidate must be up to date with the latest version of WordPress.

- Attention to details. Good clean coding. The code must make sense. div id=”tprhdr” doesn’t. div id=”header” does.

- Browser testing MUST include ie6.

- I’m not too concerned with who completes this project as long as they can prove to me that they can get this project done in a user-friendly manner, in accordance to my specifications.

Extra:
I will also need a way to have different pop-up warnings when someone clicks on a link to leave the site or close different pages. I don’t know if this requires a special plugin or what? If you could explain to me how it works and what it will take, (indicate if this is beyond the scope of this project) that would be really helpful and I will be understanding.

Final note:
Quality and price are the most important factors to me in choosing a bid (even more important than time) though getting this project done in a timely manner would be appreciated. There is also a possibility of future work to be offered to the winning bidder as I am constantly working with new business ventures requiring different web disciplines.
